Staxx for a cause

The guy right here is our super great cousin Josh. Josh was first diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2012. He beat that cancer but then shortly after the cancer came back but this time as lung cancer. He then beat that one and was in remission for 2 1/2 years! The cancer had come back for a third time, this time being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After enduring countless rounds of Chemotherapy, Radiation therapy, and surgeries, Josh decided to pursue alternative therapy treatment in Las Vegas. Because of this decision unfortunately it was not covered under insurance. So we had teamed up with Josh to design these 3 Staxx to help raise money towards his journey to fight Leukemia.

On Monday, July 10, 2017 Josh passed away at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital following that 5 1/2 year battle with cancer. Josh lived by a motto that he had made up when he was very first diagnosed, "Giving up isn't an option." Sadly Josh is no longer with us but we will continue to sell his Staxx for a cause designs in his honor and in efforts to continue raising money to help his family with expenses that Josh still has.
